Valerie and Tyler | Wedding Photography | Valparaiso University Chapel of the Ressurrection | Duneland Falls

Tyler and Valerie planned the perfect wedding, and by planned I don't mean put together casually-- I mean drew up floor plans in AutoCAD. Their itinerary was feirce yet flexible. Their entire wedding day was fun and smooth! I salute your organization!

Here's a quick preview before you leave for Costa Rica! Enjoy!

ps. I feel the need to mention that this amazing bride was ON WHEEL OF FORTUNE! How amazing is that!

Oh wow! I absolutely adore the photo of the pink high heels.

I am Danielle, a friend of Val's and I was linked to this page by one of the bridesmaids. I just want to let you know that I think you are extremely talented. I myself have an interest in photography, and I have never studied photography formally, but I love it; and your story is a bit of an inspiration.

Thanks, Danielle!

I'm so glad my hobby turned into my job! It proves you can pretty much do anything you work hard at!

I'm Amy Straka Waters. I never formally studied photography, though it was my hobby throughout high school and college. I thought I'd end up in journalism. I though I wanted to write. Then I started carrying some stuff around for Monica Zibutis. I just thought I'd make a few extra bucks on a few Saturdays. In fact, I'd never even attended a wedding when I started working with Monica. She turned those few Saturdays into every day. She turned my hobby into a career. After my own wedding, this career means even more to me. Everytime I look at my wedding photos I can hear the cello, taste the wine, and relive the whole thing. Everyone I know and love was finally in one place. I'm blessed to have beautiful memories of that, and blessed again to see those memories illustrated. I am honored to do the same for others. I never bothered with that career in journalism. I have no interest in chasing big stories, only small ones. The intimacy and emotion of wedding and portrait photography enveloped me. I love it!
